As a kid I was really mesmerized by the artwork in the Zelda 2 instruction booklet. I dunno why, maybe because it painted an overly dramatic and fantastic adventure to compensate for the squatty 8-bit canvas that was the NES. Maybe because as a gawky kid with a big nose this was a Link I could relate to.
whatever the case I found myself making a custom microman figure of everyone's favorite christmas elf adventurer.

I know Zelda 2 and this particular character design are not the most popular amongst hardcore Zelda fans but to them I say, "Well Eeeeehxcuuuuuuse me Princess"
